How the AI Works
Sentiment Analysis
Our AI reads every written review and extracts emotional signals that a pure number score might miss. A ride can average 7/10 but generate overwhelmingly positive language — the AI picks that up.
Hybrid Rating Score
The Hybrid Rating blends the raw community average with our AI-adjusted score. This prevents a handful of extreme votes from skewing results for low-volume rides.
Hidden Gem Detection
Some rides are incredible but receive fewer reviews because they're at smaller parks or are newer. Our AI identifies these undervalued attractions and awards them the "AI Pick" badge.
AI Summaries
For every ride, our AI synthesises hundreds of reviews into a concise, balanced summary that captures the consensus opinion — the good, the bad, and the underrated.
Trend Awareness
Ride quality can change over time — refurbishments improve rides, age degrades others. Our AI weighs recent reviews more heavily to reflect the current experience.
Spam & Bias Filtering
The AI flags suspicious review patterns — sudden bursts of identical scores, coordinated negative campaigns — helping keep our ratings trustworthy and manipulation-resistant.
The Rating Formula
For rides with fewer than 5 reviews, additional Bayesian smoothing is applied to prevent outlier scores from dominating.
